I went to another press day yesterday in a small venue in Soho. There were some amazing collections. Again there was a mix of styles and there was something to suit everyone, from young women to the more mature lady. My favourite collection was probably the knitwear by Hiroko Nakajima. It was a mix of their S/S 14 and A/W 14, all of it bright, bold and effortlessly chic.
Another of my favourites was by designer Carrie Ann Stein. The pop-art style prints reminded me of Ed Ruscha’s photography and had a very American aesthetic yet with somewhat British content. Chip shop’s and hotel signs were just two of the many prints from this collection.
The Grinko collection featured graphic details on knitted jumpers and jackets, creating modern classics.
Let me know which pieces you love!
